The company’s first-ever press installed at the time of establishment.Used for punching packing materials for CD radio cassette players

In-house production of Thomson punching press started. New company building completed Factory
partially renovated to introduce cleanroom facilities.

Original rotary press machine developed.
2001
ISO 9001 certification obtained. Rotary press machine HK200S won the Award of Excellence (New
Business) in the 9th China Regional New Business Awards. QINGDAO SANSHO CO.,LTD. (joint venture)
set up in Qingdao, China.
2003
ISO 9001:2000 certification renewed. OTIS PRECISION HONG KONG LIMITED set up in Hong Kong, China
Original traverse winder developed. Joint venture in Malaysia dissolved to withdraw from the

2004
OCP Co., Ltd. set up in Ochiai-cho, Maniwa-gun (presently Kaide, Maniwa-shi), Okayama. ISO 14001
certification obtained. Original rotary screen printing press developed.
2005
Tokyo Sales Office opened in Taito, Taito-ku, Tokyo
OTIS PRECISION SUZHOU CO., LTD. set up in
Suzhou, China. New company building completed in Kuse, Maniwa-shi, Okayama, and the head office
moved into it Cleanroom facilities introduced into the entire area of the factory. OTIS PRECISION
ELECTRON DONGGUAN FACTORY (OTIS PRECISION HONG KONG LIMITED DONGGUAN FACTORY) set up in Dongguan,
China . OSP Co., Ltd. set up in Yubara, Maniwa-shi, Okayama (former site of the head office)
2006
Tokyo Sales Office relocated to Hamamatsu-cho, Minato-ku. Trademark registration obtained for the
original product MAYFIT . Sony Green Partner certification obtained. OPS Kuse Factory set up
in Kuse, Maniwa-shi, Okayama.
2007
Selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for the 300 Excellent SME Manufacturers
(2007) OTIS THAI Co.,Ltd. set up in Thailand.
2008
Development theme “Developing a new market for the flexible conductive material (product name:
MAYFIT) by adding flame retardancy” selected by the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and
Regional Innovation, JAPAN (SME Support, Japan) Chugoku Branch for the 2007 New Partnerships
plans. Original mold printing press developed.
2009
Showa Denzai Kogyosho (Moriguchi-shi, Osaka) joined the group and renamed OTIS SHOWA Co., Ltd.
2010
ISO 9001:2008 certification renewed. ISO 14001:2008 certification renewed.
2011
DONGGUAN FACTORY (contract processing) in China converted to a wholly-owned company and renamed OTIS
PRECISION DONGGUAN LIMITED. G.OTIS Co., Ltd. (joint venture) set up in Korea.
2012
Acknowledged by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for IT management performance under the
IT Management Awards for Small and Medium Enterprises.
2013
G.OTIS Co., Ltd. relocated in Koreab Qingdao Sansho Precision Co., Ltd. relocated in
China Shuichi Sayama, Representative Director & President, won the 31st Excellent Management
Award hosted by The Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun (The Daily Industrial News)
